The not so Short Introduction to LaTeX (101 Pages) V3.7 Finnish version (87 Pages) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ by Tobias Oetiker 29/09/1998 Finnish edition by Timo Hellgren 23/04/1999 If you want to learn how to write your documents with LaTeX, this introduction is for you. It is not about setting up a LaTeX system. While it is not as comprehensive as Lamport's book, it should be sufficient in most cases. In this Finnish edition, I have included some additional information needed when Finnish documents are typesetted with LaTeX Besides this README file I have included ready-to-print versions as Postscript, PDF and DVI files. The PDF version uses my psdc package which uses the obsolete dc fonts for T1 encoding instead the ec fonts. Such a move was necesssary in order to get Type 1 Postscript fonts for the PDF version. Times or ae packages could not be used because I wanted to demonstrate the full T1 character set in the document. The psdc package is included here with a fontmap file for the pdflatex or dvips. Please refer to your local guide for installing the sty and fd files and your manual for pdftex or dvips for installing the dcfonts.map file. Type 1 versions of the Bakoma dc fonts are not included here, but they can be found in CTAN/fonts/dc1.1-obsolete/ My original source files are also included.
