The geometry package contains the following files:

MANIFEST	-- this file

geometry.ins	-- installation driver
		   Type "latex geometry.ins" to get the sty file.
geometry.dtx	-- source file.
		   Type "latex geometry.dtx" to get instructions (dvi).
geometry.cfg	-- configuration file. 
		   Edit it if neccesary and install with geometry.sty.

geometry-pict.ps  -- schematic instruction for `geometry' dimensions
geometry-test.tex -- a sample file to test the package
showframe.sty	  -- a style file for geometry-test.tex
